    Working in people’s homes as a tradesperson 

    I am a tradesperson carrying out essential repairs and maintenance in people’s homes. I can continue work, providing that I am well and have no symptoms. No work should be carried out by a tradesperson who has coronavirus symptoms, however mild, or when someone in my own household has symptoms.


    During a visit

    On entry to the home we will wash our hands using soap and water / hand sanitiser for 20 seconds. We will wash our hands regularly and when leaving the property. Where facilities to wash hands are not available, we will carry hand sanitiser with us at all times.


    We will maintain a safe distance (at least 2 metres) from any household occupants at all times, and ensure good ventilation in the area where you are working, including opening the window.

    If the government guidelines cannot be met or if someone in the household is extremely vulnerable or has coronavirus symptoms

    If your repair is for an iPhone, the repair can be carried out in my vehicle.


    For other repairs, the use of electricity may be required. If this is the case, we can offer a collection and drop off service.

    Postage Delays

    During these difficult times, many postal couriers are under a huge amount of strain.


    As such, there may be a delay in getting parts.


    Previously, we would arrange an appointment immediately upon agreement to repair.


    Until further notice, we will refrain from booking an appointment until we confirm we have the stock for your repair.

Postal Service

- AsTech Repairs reserve the right to ask for a postal service if you are too far to visit. 
- Suitable shipping cover is strongly recommended in the event of loss or damage in transit. 
- AsTech Repairs accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage caused in transit. 

AsTech Repairs operates as a Sole Trader based in Southampton, Hampshire.
AsTech Repairs will only store your data when a booking has been made.

We only collect data relevant to the appointment:
 - Name
- Address
- Telephone Number
- Email Address
- Information you have given us about your device (model numbers)

You have the right to ask for the above information to be removed from our systems. 

Please contact us if you wish to be forgotten. 

We will never ask for passwords / pin codes via electronic communication and will always ask you to enter this information if required when we visit.
